Michael LaFromboise
Born & Raised in Vermont
Hi, I'm Michael LaFromboise — owner and manager of Sunset Rock RV Park and Campground, located at 755 Quarry Road on beautiful Isle La Motte, Vermont. I'm a Vermont native, born and raised, and proud of it.
By trade, I've spent 45 years in the HVAC industry. I started out as an apprentice in the field and worked my way up to project manager at a large HVAC company based in Williston, VT. That career taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and doing things right — values I carry into everything I do, including running this campground.
Over the years I've also owned and managed several private businesses, including a lawn care business and a karaoke/DJ business. So if you catch me behind the mic at one of our events, now you know why!
Sunset Rock sits on 47 acres of lawn, meadows, and woods, surrounded by water with a boat launch right next door. It's a place I'm proud to manage alongside my family. Whether you're a returning seasonal camper or visiting for the very first time, you're part of our family here.
I look forward to another great season welcoming guests, hosting events, and making memories together on this beautiful island.
